Mountain is the fifth Map introduced to Gorilla Tag on March 13, 2022.
General Information[]
To the right of the entrance is the Igloo, where Gorilla OS resides. To the right of the entrance are long ice paths that allow players to slide through the map at high speeds. Climbing the tower near the entrance gives access to a tube slide. This slide goes down the mountain and splits after about six seconds. Jumping into the upper tube leads to an alternate path that briefly exits the main map boundaries, showing the sky texture, and offers a longer ride.
Snow-covered surfaces let players grab snowballs, which can be thrown at others. Snowballs can be combined up to around five times to make them larger, increasing their pushback force when thrown. The pushback force also depends on how fast the snowball is thrown. Snowballs can be used to launch players to higher areas or to gain speed for chasing or escaping others.
At the bottom of the map there is a snow machine that blows an air current that propels players to the top of the map to improve travel.
