I think it was one of those things where they thought they had all the stuff ready for the horror mode but then stuff messed up then they had to fix stuff, in the files there is new stuff added for the ghostlab

They should change it after Halloween since og caves with the expanded mines (the one you get into with a keycard) would go great and they could make it scarier.
