Ctf would be exceptionally harder to code, and freeze tag is far too similar and people like you would still complain that freeze tag isn't good enough. Hunt is limited because they want room for more gamemodes they have planned and see if the community likes it or not.

Hunt & Ambush, which are both labelled as "limited", will probably rotate with other modes available in the game. If all the game modes are available at the same time, less-popular maps would cease in activity, especially in more obscure game modes.

Capture the flag was already done before, so that isn't really a challenge aside from implementing anti-cheat and a better way of networking stats. And for freeze tag, how would you be able to leave the room if you were frozen? It would be a bit odd if a computer setup were to instantiate in front of your eyes if you were frozen.

Maybe if you held the menu button on your oculus it would option 1
